OC鈥檚 Audio Engineering and Music Production students perform first live concert in two years

For the first time in two years, 新加坡六合彩官方网站 College鈥檚 Audio Engineering and Music Production (AEMP) Certificate students will perform on stage to a live audience. 

鈥淭he students have put in tremendous鈥痚ffort into shaping their skills for all areas in audio. The event will showcase the individual talent each student brings, while they work as a team to create a full production of live sound,鈥 says Chaianne Ellis, Audio Engineering and Music Production teaching assistant. 鈥淭hroughout the year, getting to watch the students uncover unknown abilities due to their drive and willingness is what stands out the most. The interest to create and the skills to do it brings memorable experiences and this event will show it fabulously.鈥

Throughout the year, the AEMP students learn several aspects of audio engineering and music production, including songwriting, mixing and mastering, music theory, live sound, and more. The year ends with a celebration of all the students鈥 hard work and encourages students and alumni to perform and host a live concert.

The event, Evolved, Celebration of a Variety of Music Styles, will take place on Saturday, April 9, at 6 p.m. at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased through the .

The Audio Engineering and Music Production Certificate at 新加坡六合彩官方网站 College trains individuals to work in various technical positions such as recording arts, music, theatre, concerts, broadcasting, video and film. The program develops skills required to operate digital and analog audio recording, programming and processing equipment. The course content provides a foundation in the principles of hearing, sound, music, basic electronics, processing, signal flow, microphone techniques, mixing and mastering, live sound engineering, and reviews current industry standards.
